Event Summary: Dynamic Week in Stuttgart and Munich

Last week marked significant milestones with two key events that reinforced transatlantic business connections and industry innovation.

U.S. Market Entry Seminar in Stuttgart

In collaboration with the German American Business Association (GABA), we hosted a comprehensive seminar focusing on U.S. market entry strategies. C-level executives from German SMEs gathered to explore critical topics such as legal structures, economic development incentives, and U.S. tax law. The afternoon sessions delved into visa pathways and HR challenges. The exchange of practical experiences provided invaluable insights for all participants, and new industry connections for TBIC and its member regions.

Ceramitec Trade Show in Munich

At Ceramitec Munich, we engaged with companies from Belgium, France, Poland, Spain, Austria, and Germany. The ceramics industry’s diversity was on full display, featuring innovations from pottery products to semiconductor applications. Despite challenges like uncertain trade policies and high energy costs, the event offered promising leads and strengthened transatlantic relationships.

Both events exemplified our commitment to constant expansion of our network, and outreach across all FDI-relevant industries in Europe.

Trade Show Visit: Space Tech Expo Europe 2025

Last week, the Transatlantic Business & Investment Council (TBIC), LP, attended Space Tech Expo Europe to meet with companies interested in exploring opportunities for U.S. market expansion.

Now in its 10th edition, Space Tech Expo Europe has become one of the most important gatherings for the European space supply chain. Nearly 1,000 exhibitors and a wide range of industry stakeholders came together to showcase advancements in manufacturing, satellite technologies, testing, components, and data-driven services.

Across conversations at the event, one theme stood out: the United States remains a critical market for growth. European companies continue to see strong demand for advanced manufacturing, satellite and communications capabilities, and data-enabled services. Many are actively evaluating when and how to establish a presence in the U.S. and what support they will need along the way.

As part of TBIC’s mission to strengthen transatlantic investment, our team met with numerous companies to discuss pathways into the U.S. market, available resources, and opportunities within our network of American communities and partners. We will continue supporting these companies as they develop their strategies and consider next steps.

Trade Show Visit: MEDICA 2025

In November 2025, the TBIC team attended MEDICA in Düsseldorf, the world’s largest trade fair for the medical sector, to engage with international companies active in medical technology, diagnostics, and healthcare innovation.

Meetings focused on companies developing medical devices, laboratory technologies, and digital health solutions that are evaluating U.S. market entry or expansion. Many conversations highlighted the importance of regulatory pathways, access to skilled labor, and proximity to healthcare systems and research partners when considering U.S. locations.

MEDICA once again proved to be a valuable platform for early-stage lead identification and relationship building in the healthcare and life sciences space.

TBIC Trade Show Visit: AGRITECHNICA 2025

Earlier this month, the TBIC team visited Agritechnica in Hanover, the world’s leading trade fair for agricultural machinery and equipment. We were pleased to attend the fair together with our TBIC Member Henderson Texas Economic Development Corporation, who joined us for meetings with companies exploring international expansion.

Across the exhibition halls, we met a range of innovative suppliers and equipment manufacturers, including several firms that are actively evaluating opportunities in the United States. Many see strong potential in the U.S. market due to ongoing investments in modern farming technologies, increasing adoption of automation, and a growing interest in sustainable solutions.

For TBIC members, events like Agritechnica remain a valuable platform to identify future investors early in their decision-making process. Attending with Henderson Texas provided an excellent opportunity to introduce them directly to companies preparing their next steps and to discuss how their community can support future U.S. projects.

Agritechnica once again demonstrated how dynamic and forward-looking this industry is. If you would like to learn more about how TBIC supports investment promotion, please feel free to reach out to our team.

Trade Show Visit: Anuga Food Show 2025 & K Show 2025

In October 2025, the TBIC team visited Anuga Food Show in Cologne and K Show in Düsseldorf on consecutive days to identify European companies with interest in U.S. expansion.

At Anuga, discussions focused on food and beverage producers and related suppliers exploring U.S. market entry, with particular attention to processing, packaging, logistics, and sustainability requirements. Several companies expressed concrete interest in next steps and follow-up conversations.

At K Show, TBIC met with firms from the plastics and rubber industry, including advanced materials and machinery suppliers, many of which highlighted growing interest in North American production and supply chain diversification.

Across both trade shows, the TBIC team identified a number of qualified European companies at different stages of U.S. expansion planning. These back-to-back visits once again demonstrated the value of targeted trade show presence for early-stage lead generation and relationship building in key European industries.
