Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Annual Recap session! Reflecting on 2024, we’re proud of what we achieved together to strengthen transatlantic economic ties and support European companies in their U.S. expansions. This year, we organized 8 delegation trips to Europe, participated in 15 trade shows, and helped connect nearly 200 European companies and over 50 multipliers with TBIC Members. We also hosted seven events as well as our largest Transatlantic Business & Investment Conference to date, and delivered 6 Market Insights newsletters. As we look ahead to 2025, we’re excited to build on this momentum, navigating evolving opportunities in FDI and continuing to foster collaboration. Here’s to a successful year ahead!

Led by TBIC Advisory Council member Jamie Newell, the session provided a deep dive into the latest developments in the hydrogen economy, focusing on the evolving U.S. and German markets. Economic developers were encouraged to stay informed, as rapid industry advancements make it essential to keep up with trends to position their communities competitively for hydrogen investments. Another key takeaway was the importance of engaging local businesses interested in green energy, as they are often pivotal in attracting further hydrogen development. We’re thrilled to continue this series in early 2025 with a session focused on U.S. expansion strategies for hydrogen companies, followed by a March 2025 three-day event offering site visits to leading Northern European hydrogen and clean energy companies.
